I welcome a limited number of commissioned paintings each year. Whether you're looking for a wildlife painting, a cherished portrait, a meaningful landscape, or another subject close to your heart, each commission is approached as an original work of art created in my expressive contemporary style.
My Approach
Every commission begins with a conversation. Together we'll discuss your ideas, reference photos, size, and the feeling you'd like the painting to evoke. My goal is to create a work that is both personal and artistically expressive, rather than simply reproducing a photograph.
The Commission Process
1. Initial Consultation

Share your vision, subject, preferred size, and any reference images.
2. Planning

We'll discuss composition, colour palette, and artistic direction if applicable.
3. Deposit

A 30–50% deposit reserves your commission.
4. Creation

Your painting is created in my studio, with progress updates available upon request.
5. Delivery

Once complete, your painting is packaged and shipped or arranged for pickup.
Pricing
Commissioned paintings begin at $1.75 CAD per square inch, with final pricing based on size, subject matter, and complexity.
