Spirit In Form
Spirit in Form explores the intersection between the visible and the unseen, where inner experience takes shape through animal presence, color, and atmosphere. These paintings are not portraits in a traditional sense, but encounters: moments where something internal becomes tangible.
At the center of the work is a tension between strength and surrender, stillness and intensity. Animals such as the bear and buffalo become vessels for these states, carrying emotional and spiritual weight without needing literal explanation. They hold space for what is felt but not easily spoken.
Color functions as both environment and emotional language, sometimes grounding the subject in earthy restraint, and at other times dissolving it into luminous, electric fields. This shift reflects the movement between quiet reflection and heightened awareness, between the ordinary and the transcendent.
The series suggests that spirit is not separate from form, but revealed through it. In each work, presence becomes physical, and the physical becomes a doorway into something beyond it.
Spirit in Form invites the viewer to sit within that threshold, where meaning is not declared, but encountered.
